This striking chess set features hand-painted pieces in a distinctive Ukrainian style, made entirely from birch wood. Each figure is individually crafted by Eastern European artists, giving the set its authentic, artisanal charm. Because the pieces are handmade by multiple artists, slight variations in pattern or colour may occur — part of what makes each set unique.
The green-and-red set is one of two vibrant colour options available (a blue-and-red version is also offered).
The folding wooden board measures 42 x 21 cm when closed and includes a custom-moulded insert for neatly storing each piece.
