Belyakova Children & Pets Nesting Dolls - 5 Nested Set
A sweet and characterful five-piece nesting doll set signed by artist Belyakova, each freckle-faced child clutching a beloved animal companion. The largest holds a fluffy grey cat tangled in a ball of red wool, the next cuddles a plump teddy bear, another holds a fluffy white dog, and the two smallest each carry a little white cat and a swaddled baby. The soft palette of teal, pink and blue gives the set a gentle, dreamy quality.
A signed set full of Belyakova's signature charm, the expressive animals and rosy-cheeked children across all five pieces are painted with the warmth and storytelling detail that makes her work instantly recognisable.
This is a five nested piece set. Initialed by the artist Belyakova.
Handmade in Russia.
