Artist Matryoshka – Russian Winter Village by Belyakova – 5 Nested Set
This beautiful five-piece matryoshka set by Russian artist Belyakova depicts a winter village scene across each doll - figures in warm coats and headscarves carrying water buckets through a snowy landscape, with frost-covered cottages and pale winter skies in the background. The soft pink, grey and silver tones give the set a quiet, wintry atmosphere quite distinct from Belyakova's warmer seasonal pieces.
A thoughtfully composed collector's piece that captures the still beauty of a Russian winter with the expressive detail and individual character that defines this artist's work.
This matryoshka is a five nested set and signed by the artist.
