This delightful five-piece matryoshka set by Russian artist Belyakova features a freckle-faced girl in soft blue, each doll holding a different beloved toy — a fluffy white rabbit, a brown teddy bear, a hobby horse, a small dog, and a swaddled baby. The pale blue palette and charming toy details give the set a gentle, nostalgic quality with a wonderfully playful character that is immediately recognisable as Belyakova's work.
A lovely collector's piece that captures the simple joys of childhood with the expressive detail and warm individuality that defines this artist's hand.
This matryoshka is a five nested set.
